Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) invites online application on prescribed format for Direct Recruitment to the Sarkari Naukri Vacancy posts of Police Sub Inspector/ Sergeant/ Assistant Superintendent Jail (Direct recruitment)/Assistant Superintendent Jail (Ex-Serviceman) in Bihar Police. (Advertisement No. 1/2019).
₹650/- (₹550/- for non creamy layer OBC / MBC candidates and ₹400/- for SC/ST candidates) to be paid online.
BPSSC will conduct the combines written competitive examination in two phases of Preliminary and Main examination for selection of all vacancies under BPSSC Bihar Police Vacancy Recruitment 2019.
Preliminary examination will be of 200 marks having 100 questions. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and the question asked will be of General Knowledge and Current Affairs. The number of candidates selected will be the 20 times of the total vacancies in various category.
The main examination will have two papers. The first paper will be of Hindi of 200 marks and will be of duration 2 hours having 100 questions. The paper will be for knowledge check and score of Hindi paper will not be counted in the merit list.
The second paper will consist of questions from General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics and Mental Ability. Duration, marks and number of questions will be same as of first paper.
